The Price of Peace
Saturday, June 8th, 2013
With the Sabbat Leader defeated, the Camarilla are triumphant, but beset on all sides by problems old and new. Meanwhile, the Giovanni and Anarchs struggle to work with each other, and deal with the oppressive Camarilla.
-
The Prince announces victory over the Sabbat. Now nothing bad can happen ever again. Right? Right?
-
Gangrel Volkov and Alaria have a "friendly" clan meeting. Caption: "Grrrr... Growl.... SNARL! "
-
Prince Mynos and Baron Armaros have a cautious meeting. Memories of the war against the Sabbat are still... raw.
-
Armaros:"You know there's a tear in your jeans?" Mynos:"I'm a Brujah. Torn jeans are part of the dress code!"
-
The O'Malleys Elysium has an odd assortment of folks, from Camarilla to Anarch to Giovanni. It's Gimli's Casablanca!
-
Within the Wellington Elysium, the Camarilla Officers begin talking about the issues that plague Gimli.
-
The Prince lays out the issues. On a whiteboard, like a champ. How many problems can there be?
-
...Damn. Gimli's fucked.
-
Child of Haqim Brazul gets grilled by the Camarilla Officers. His involvement with the Giovanni was ... problematic.
-
Alaria and Anna quietly plot the downfall of their enemies. Prince Alaria? Prince Anna? That has a nice ring to it...
-
Volkov is sad. Or happy. Or angry. Or hungry. Or nostalgic of a brutal communist dictatorship, when things were simple. Or he's thinking about Borscht. Mmm... Borscht.
-
In the background, Harpy Gramps quietly watches and judges the assembled Primogen. Ventrue Primogen Ambare Davidavitch quietly ignores the "cosiness" of the Child of Haqim Primogen Anis and Toreador Primogen Grace.
-
Meanwhile, the Anarchs (right, Jenny, John, and Armaros) and the Giovanni (left, Tavish and Apalo) try to come to some sort of understanding, and make business deals.
-
Jenny is all stylish with a fan. O'Malleys is a hot establishment!
-
Ibn blends into the background, watching carefully. The Giovanni and Child of Haqim are not on the best of terms. The Anarchs continue their bartering with the Giovanni.
-
Ibn does not sleep. He waits.
-
Tavish: "Hey, is Ibn sleeping?" ... No, we've just established that he's waiting. HE'S NOT SLEEPING.
-
Deep within his shiny carapace, Lucan's eyes glow.
-
The Children of Haqim say goodbye to Brazul, who needs some time to collect himself. The Domain hasn't been kind to poor Brazul.
-
Farwell, Brazul Al-Shadeki. Someday, we will see you again.
